“Similar to films like Big Fish and Amelie, The Man Who Never Cried is a modern day fable that plumbs the depth of human emotion by showcasing equal amounts of hilarity and heart break. It’ll make you laugh, think – it might even make you cry.”
The Man Who Never Cried is truly an impeccable example of story telling in film. Using heart warming and heart wrenching moments, TMWNC communicates the importance of all emotion including sadness. The performances by Kier O’Donnell (Rafe) and Jess Weixler (Ginny) were also great. But maybe above all, the film is so perfectly whimsical, and even magical.
