BSA Student Poems: Beautiful Moments

Here are two poems by BSA students, Maya Harris and Ca’lynn Scruggs, that reflect on those simple, but beautiful moments outside.

High Above

by Maya Harris

The morning sun shines upon my face, as I rise to the sound of the birds making beautiful melodies.

The sky is a vibrant blue, sprinkling the dew upon the blades of grass that tickle my feet as I take a

morning stroll.

And I say to myself I am blessed.

Summer

by Ca’lynn Scruggs

The grass is green the sun so bright

It looks like a dream

No worries in sight

Tank tops and bliss each moment pass so soon

Till when I look back at the dream

Filled with the brightness of the moon
